The derivation of Bachelor of Science is obtained from a Latin phrase Scientia Baccalaureus. It is basically an undergraduate degree obtained by the students who have completed the study programs successfully. The duration of these programs is usually 3 years. There are several subjects on which this degree is offered in India. These subjects can be divided into 2 categories, which are honors courses and pass courses. The science colleges of India offer the B.Sc degrees of 3 years.


The students are required to choose the specialization domain from the different available options. The options usually include biotechnology, chemistry, computer science and much more. The study programs are designed to fulfill all the requirements of the students. The curriculum structure of the study program of this degree is similar to the study programs of the other bachelor’s degree or undergraduate courses.
