Scholastic Aptitude Test
SAT Full Form is Scholastic Aptitude Test. SAT is conducted in order to get admission to under graduation in colleges or universities. It was organized the year 1926. The SAT is possessed and published by the College Board. The test is a paper-based homogenized test which is basically meant for the capacity of a child’s certain abilities and his readiness to be admitted in a college.

SAT is relatively tougher than other parallel examinations and has a bulkier pattern, covering critical reasoning, Mathematics, writing, English, etc.
The possible scores in an SAT test range from 600 to 2400 and the total test takes 3 hours and 45 minutes to finish. It is interesting to note that societies like Mensa and Triple Nine, use these scores from definite years as their admission tests. Thus, SAT indeed enjoys quite a reputable position in the academic arena.
Score/Grade Range of SAT:
The Scholastic Aptitude Test or SAT is mainly made up of three main sections along with its own subsections. These three main sections are graded on a level of 200-800. The final grade is the total of all the three sections which is a number that comes in between 600 and 2400. The duration of this test is marked to be 3 hours and 45 minutes.
Sections of SAT:
Each section of the SAT comprises of:
- The Writing Part: The writing section is mainly 60 minutes long comprising of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and an essay of 25 minutes.
- The Math: This section is 70 minutes long and comprises of both Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and student-produced response questions.
- The Critical Reading: This section checks the ability of the candidate to read and understand quickly.
