Indian Science Engineering Eligibility Test
ISEET Full Form is Indian Science Engineering Eligibility Test. The ISEET is a common entrance test for aspiring engineering students which will make Engineering entrance a little simpler. Earlier for each University or a set of universities there used to be different entrance exams to get an admission for engineering studies. Now with the Indian Science Engineering Eligibility Test or ISEET, it will be a common test which will be considered by most of the IITs, NITs, IISERs, IIITs and other state level universities.
ISEET will replace the IIT-JEE and AIEEE entrance exams. Students will be relieved of the 50+ entrance exams they usually have to write to get admission from one of the premium engineering institutes. Since the majority of the engineering institutes in the country will accept the ISEET points, their stress levels will be reduced and they just have to concentrate on scoring well in it.
Similarly for the parents also it lessens the financial burden of applying and preparing their wards for various entrance exams. Once the ISEET is in place and practice, the engineering colleges will consider the board exam marks and the ISEET marks to admit an engineering student on merit. Many reputed entrance preparation institutes are offering a combined course that prepares the plus 2 students for the boar exams as well as the ISEET exams.
