As the launch date of the OnePlus 12 smartphone is very close, the official information about the features that will be packed in this new flagship smartphone of OnePlus has been revealed one by one.
Earlier it was announced that OnePlus 12 will be launched on December 4. Later its release date was shifted to 5th December. Now, with just a few days left for the launch, the entire camera specifications of the OnePlus 12 have been confirmed.
Since the beginning, it has been teased that the main camera of the OnePlus 12 smartphone will come with a Sony LYT-808 sensor. Meanwhile, details about the rest of the cameras in the triple rear camera setup of the OnePlus 12 have also been confirmed.
What’s interesting here is that the OnePlus 12 packs the same ultra-wide-angle camera and telephoto camera as the OnePlus Open and Oppo Find N3 smartphones.
Li Jie, head of OnePlus China, has shared a poster via Chinese media site Weibo that reveals what camera sensors will be featured in the Haselblad-branded rear camera setup on the OnePlus 12 smartphone.
According to the poster, the OnePlus 12 smartphone features a 50-megapixel main camera with Sony LYD-808 sensor + 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera + 64-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom support.

As mentioned earlier, the ultra-wide-angle camera and telephoto camera are in line with the cameras on the OnePlus Open and Oppo Find N3 smartphones. However, the OnePlus 12 will have a 13-channel sensor, which will improve the performance of all three cameras.
Apart from the camera features – ahead of the December 5 launch date – some other key features of the OnePlus 12 smartphone have also been officially confirmed. The smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
And the OnePlus 12 smartphone will run Android 13 OS based on OxygenOS 14 out-of-the-box and will feature a ProXDR display with 2K resolution from BOE.
We also know what the OnePlus 12 will look like. That’s because OnePlus is constantly sharing photos and videos of the OnePlus 12 smartphone through its website and social media platforms. Also the India launch date has been announced “tentatively”.

Under the terms and conditions of the lottery to win OnePlus 12 for free, it is mentioned that the contest will run from November 27 to January 23. So it is understandable that OnePlus 12 will launch on January 24 in global markets including India. Better to wait for the official information though!
After the key features were revealed, the leaks that the OnePlus 12 will come with a budget of Rs 80,000 disappeared. Most likely it will match the price range of OnePlus 11. The OnePlus 11 was launched for Rs 56,999. So it is good to expect OnePlus 12 pricing to be within Rs 65,000!
