B.Ed Full Form is Bachelor of Education. There are numerous universities all over India that offer degree programs for those who desire to make their career in teaching. The students get admission in these educational bodies in accordance with their ranks in these exams. These are usually conducted in June or July. The results are declared in the month of August. During the degree programs, in addition to the theoretical classes, ample practical courses are also provided.
Entrance Exam for B.Ed admission
The main entrance exam conducted for entering into the B.Ed degree program is B.Ed CET. This entrance exam is used for the selection of the eligible candidates that can enter into the courses of this degree. It is conducted all over India in various allotted centers. There are certain criteria for those who desire to appear for this exam.
A candidate who does not have any teaching experience must possess either a post graduate degree or at least a graduate degree from an authentic and recognized university. The graduation percentage of the general category students must be at least fifty percent. A candidate who has already taught must have a teaching experience of at least two years. He or she must provide an experience certificate for the same. The service provided by him or her must be full-time from a reputed school.
B.Ed Exam Pattern
The CET examination paper is divided into three parts. The first part is dedicated to general English and consists of twenty-five questions. The second part deals with general knowledge and teaching aptitude and has fifteen and ten questions respectively. For the last part, the student needs to select one of the given subjects: math, physics, biological science, zoology, geography, civics, English, economics, history, social studies, botany, and chemistry.
The subject selected in the third part does not affect the exam. The second and the first part must be attempted by all candidates. The objective type questions are provided in the paper. The application forms of this exam can be submitted either directly or through online mode. The candidates can opt for either Hindi or English as the exam language.

The first part tests the skills of English language of the candidates. The section asks questions on voices, synonyms, tenses, sentence correction, etc. For passing this section with flying colors, it is necessary to refer the basic books on English. The candidates must test themselves by taking online mock tests. This will help in assessing their stand in this section.
The second section tests the awareness of the candidate in terms of current events, general politics, geography, etc. It also assesses the candidate’s basic skills of teaching. In order to prepare for this section thoroughly, the newspaper must be read daily. There are various books available in the markets that are dedicated to teaching aptitude. These will help immensely in the preparation of this section. For the last section, the syllabus must be understood properly. The question papers of past years must be referred by the candidates.

The main option of career for the students pursuing the B.Ed degree is teaching on the school level.
